Yes. Consulting can be a complete engagement on its own. We can work through your options and leave you with recommendations and a next step you can take yourself.
The first 15-minute call is free. After that, I quote the scope and fee in USD before work begins. The quote explains deliverables, timing, and any ongoing software or usage costs. Support is optional and separately quoted.
Often, yes. I start by looking at what you use and what it can connect to. If a tool has limitations, I explain them before recommending a change or custom development.
Your written agreement sets out ownership, account access, and the handoff. For custom builds, we agree on source code, documentation, and deployment access before starting. Third-party software and services keep their own license terms.
We agree on what data the system needs, who can access it, which providers process it, and how long it is retained. I use sample or anonymized data where practical and build in human review where mistakes would matter. Please bring a description of your problem to the first call, rather than confidential records.
I walk you through the system and its limitations, and provide the agreed documentation. You can operate it yourself or arrange optional support. Maintenance, response times, and future changes are scoped explicitly.
